HOW LONG DOES THE PROCEDURE TAKE?
This is an outpatient procedure that takes between two to four hours. Dr. Lee meticulously sutures and shapes the breast to ensure the optimal surgical outcome.
WHERE IS THE SURGERY PERFORMED?
The surgery is performed in our state of the art outpatient surgical center.
WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BREAST AUGMENTATION AND A BREAST LIFT?
Breast augmentation focuses primarily on increasing the size and volume of the breasts. A breast lift does not increase the volume of the breast but tightens the breast envelope, reshapes the breasts and raises the position of the nipple.
HOW LONG DO THE EFFECTS OF A BREAST LIFT LAST?
The result from a breast lift is permanent. However, it does not prevent gravity from pulling down on your breasts. Results typically last for a period of 10 to 15 years. Your breasts will always be more lifted than if you have never had a breast lift.
SHOULD I WAIT UNTIL I’M FINISHED HAVING CHILDREN BEFORE GETTING A BREAST LIFT?
Yes. It is recommended that patients wait at least 6 months to a year after having a child to undergo a breast lift. Pregnancy and shifts in weight after a breast lift will change the shape and position of the breasts.
WILL A BREAST LIFT MAKE ME LOOK SMALLER?
It is natural for the patient’s cup size to decrease following a breast lift in Beverly Hills, as excess skin is removed. Some patients undergo breast lift with implant augmentation or fat grafting to add volume to the breasts.
WILL A BREAST LIFT REDUCE THE SIZE OF MY AREOLAS?
Yes, breast lift can reduce the size of the areolas. Dr. Lee selects the appropriate areola size based on your unique breast shape and size as well as your aesthetic goals.
