Welcoming Our Out of Town Patients

Dr. Michelle Lee’s surgical expertise is internationally renowned and highly sought after––whether it’s in-state or overseas, our out-of-town clients travel great distances for a world-class cosmetic experience with PERK plastic surgery. With almost half of our clients from out of town, our team is dedicated to making your Beverly Hills aesthetic transformation as easy and stress-free as possible. Read below to learn more about what the surgical process may look like for our out-of-town clients!

Consultation via Video or In-Person

As an out-of-town patient, you have the choice to consult with Dr. Lee virtually or you may schedule an in-office consultation if you visit Beverly Hills pre-surgery. Our team will guide you through the online intake forms and check-in and will connect with you after your video (or in-person) meeting to continue the conversation and coordinate the next steps.

Planning Your Surgery

Following your consultation, Dr. Lee's surgical coordinator will provide you with a surgery proposal and answer any additional questions you may have. They will help you choose the best date for your procedure, guide you through the preoperative process, and can assist in planning for your stay in Los Angeles.

Planning Your Travel

After any surgical procedure, your body needs time to heal. Clients should plan to stay in the Los Angeles area for at least 1-2 weeks following surgery. Once your surgery date is set, your coordinator will be happy to help you plan the specifics of your trip.

Some tips to consider:

  • If possible, travel with someone that you trust
  • Arrive in LA at least 1-2 days prior to surgery, if not sooner
  • The closest airports are LAX and BUR (both within 15 mi.)
  • Our office is located in the heart of Beverly Hills
  • Complete your preoperative medical clearance before traveling, when possible
  • Fill your prescriptions and stock up on recovery aids upon arrival in Los Angeles

Accommodations

We’re proud to partner with The Peninsula Beverly Hills to offer our out-of-town patients an elevated and seamless recovery experience. Located less than a minute from both our office and the surgery center, the hotel provides unmatched convenience in a discreet, luxury setting. Patients have access to a preferred partnership rate, as well as optional recovery packages that include dedicated nursing care in the comfort of their suite. With a private back-door entrance for added privacy and the exceptional service The Peninsula is known for, this option offers the highest level of comfort, safety, and discretion during your stay.

All patients undergoing general anesthesia are required to have a caretaker for 24 hours post-op. While a trusted friend or family member is preferred, we can arrange private aftercare with a nurse for those traveling alone. We'll also gladly help coordinate pre- and post-procedure treatments such as IV therapy, hyperbaric oxygen, and/or lymphatic massages. Please let our office know if you need any assistance in organizing your post-surgical care.
