Courtney “Court” Coons, FNP-BC is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner specializing in the art of nonsurgical facial rejuvenation. She believes in slow aging and approaches aesthetics with the philosophy of enhancing every patient’s unique features. With an emphasis on skin longevity, Courtney prioritizes healthy, radiant skin as the foundation of every aesthetic treatment.
Born and raised in New York, Courtney earned her bachelor’s degree at Hartwick College and her master’s degree from SUNY Downstate Medical Center. Early in her nursing career, she worked in Trauma and Emergency Medicine, where she developed her sharp clinical judgment and calm precision under pressure. But beneath her scrubs, she carried a lifelong passion for skin health and longevity. Sparked by her own struggle with acne from elementary school through graduate school, that personal journey inspired a deep commitment to helping others feel confident in their skin.
A naturally creative person, Courtney found her perfect career match in aesthetic medicine. While completing her graduate studies, she trained independently in Plastic Surgery, gaining early experience that confirmed her desire to combine artistry with evidence-based medicine, and to collaborate with a plastic surgeon to give patients the best range of treatment options.
After becoming board certified, Courtney moved to Los Angeles to immerse herself in the world of advanced aesthetics. She honed her expertise in medical-grade skincare, laser resurfacing, neuromodulators (like Botox), dermal fillers, microneedling, and noninvasive rejuvenation techniques. Now at PERK Plastic Surgery, Courtney continues to refine her craft under the mentorship of Dr. Michelle Lee.
Courtney is known for her precise, natural results and her patient-centered approach. She believes in treating skin first by supporting its health and vitality. Focusing on the most innovative regenerative therapies and stacking synergistic treatments, Courtney has helped countless patients achieve their dream skin. Above all, she prioritizes patient safety in every step of the process, ensuring that treatments are both effective and performed with the highest standard of care. Patients describe her as warm, compassionate, and approachable, and she prides herself on making every visit feel comfortable, collaborative, and empowering. Courtney’s goal is simple: to help patients look and feel like the best version of themselves.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling, live music, a good meal, and spending time with her cats, Gatsby and Misch.
