E! TV’s plastic surgery special “Extreme Dr. 90210” featured Dr. Toby Mayer performing facial feminization on 21 year-old Jamie, a northern-California native. The episode originally aired on December 2 and is still being broadcast – check your local listings for time and channel!
“My whole life, I never ever truly looked the way I feel,” notes Jamie. “This surgery means the world to me. Until now, I was terrified of being the real me. I know there are so many girls who struggle with issues of identity, and I want to help society become more understanding.”
Follow Jamie’s journey as she meets with Dr. Toby Mayer, and begins life as a person whose outward appearance finally matches her inner feelings.
“Jamie can now live her life looking as feminine as she has felt all her life,” says Dr. Toby Mayer. “She’s a great source of inspiration for those on a similar journey.”
